Kishori Vikas is an inception started by Rashtriya Sewa Bharathi in 2014, to stand by the Kishories (adolescent girls) for their holistic development. Kishories are the foundation of the country who will also build the future of the country, hence, it is necessary for them to be healthy, educated and cultured. Adolescence stage is like a loose clay on a potter's wheel, similar to clay on a potter's wheel, adolescents are resilient and can be shaped or influenced. Adolescence is a critical period of development where individuals go through significant physical, emotional, and cognitive changes. During this time, they are often more receptive to external influences. By keeping all these things in mind Kishori Vikas is formed.

Objective:-  To break the cycle of poverty, improving the overall health and education levels of communities, and ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential.

Mission:-  To make Kishories (adolescent girls) Empower and Self Reliant so that they can take the charge of their lives.

Vision:-  Development of a strong, capable & socially useful woman.

Why Girls.?  :- Reason behind this initiative is to help adolescent girls to become empowered in a true sense that both economically and socially keeping the value and culture of our country and to make the girls that much capable so whenever they need they can become a support system for their families as well as in future they can work as an asset for the nation

Rashtriya Sewa Bharati, through its representative organsation runs more than 3 thousand Kishori Vikas Kendra, where it gives guidance in education, skill development, self-defense, health, and allied subjects to the adolescent girls. As resulted girls are becoming more confident, more aware about the need of education and of being self dependent, they are understanding the importance of our culture and family values and behaving accordingly, instead of wasting their time in unnecessary things they focusing to do something creative, they are learning various courses so that if the need arises, they can adopt them in future as employment. They are also working as teachers in Sewa Samskara Kendra runned by Sewa Bharti. Kishori Vikas Kendra is being run by trained teenagers. They are participating in various curriculum activities which shows their participation in the society. All these efforts are going on through Kishori Vikas.
